As an organization handling personal information under the Personal Information Protection Law (Representative: Hiromitsu Takei, Location: 2-18-2 Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 7th floor of Shinbashi NKK Building), Kids & Smile (hereinafter referred to as the "Organization") has established the following personal information protection policy, and is committed to complying with the Personal Information Protection Law (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Law") and other related laws and regulations with regard to the handling of personal information.

  • Collection of Personal Information
    After identifying the purpose of use of personal information, the Organization shall acquire personal information to the extent necessary and by appropriate means.
  • Intended use of Personal Information
    Except as permitted by law, the Organization will use personal information only for the following purposes and within the scope of the purpose of use separately notified or publicly announced:
      • (1) Report and guidance on the Organization's activities and operations;
      (2) Reports or information on various events conducted by the Organization, its supporters, or the persons eligible to receive such support, as well as providing (or providing information) to the Organization, the supporters of the Organization, or the persons eligible for such support, regarding the goods and services provided by the Organization or the persons eligible for such support;
      (3) Dissemination of information related to the Organization's support recipients and the regions covered by the support to the recipients

In addition, we will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of relevant parties to ensure the safe management of personal data.     The Organization will not provide personal data to any third party without the prior consent of the relevant person, except in accordance with laws and regulations, or as otherwise legally permitted.
  • Request for Notification of Purposes of Use, Disclosure, Correction, Discontinuation of Use or other Treatment or Handling of Personal Data
    In the event the Organization receives a request regarding any of the following items with respect to personal data held by the Organization, the Organization shall confirm that such request has been made by the relevant person or their agent and respond to such request in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law.
      • (1) Notification of the purpose of use;
      (2) Disclosure of personal data in the possession of the Organization or records pertaining to the provision to a third party of personal data;
      (3) Any correction, addition, or deletion of personal data held by the Organization that identifies the person in question;
      (4)  Suspension of use, elimination or cessation of provision of personal data to third parties
